Colorful hills and a lake

Inspired by the Group of Seven, this work depicts an abstract landscape in which undulating, colorful shapes evoke hills and mountains. The composition is symmetrical, suggesting a reflection in the water, with warm colors such as yellow and brown blended with cooler tones like blue and green. Silhouettes of black trees dot the scene, providing a striking contrast. The oil painting, with its visible brushstrokes and rich palette, creates a calm and contemplative atmosphere.
