Cap Minerve, the birch grove

This work, titled “Cap Minerve, the Birch Grove,” depicts a forest of birch trees with white and black trunks, accented with touches of blue and green. The vertical composition emphasizes the height of the trees, while the expressive texture and vivid colors convey an atmosphere that is both naive and emotional. The layering of shapes and hues creates a subtle interplay between light and matter, characteristic of the artist’s contemporary style, which sensitively blends figuration and abstraction.
