Hide and seek

This animal-themed artwork awakens us to the four directions of life, represented by four powerful bears. Each embodies a unique energy and invites us to rediscover our inner balance in harmony with the forces of nature. I used the blue of the sky as a backdrop to make the warm colors stand out even more. In the left corner: The North is depicted in shades of blue and white, evoking the ice, depth, and power of this direction—an aspect that invites us to slow down, take a break, and refocus. There we see the polar bear on the ice floe, bringing us our inner wisdom; behind it, the horse, symbolizing new adventures; the deer, representing unconditional love; the lynx, representing inner listening, and the wolf, representing intuition and protection—each brings its own wisdom to this northern landscape. In the right-hand corner, we head toward the East, where the black bear stands centered and facing the polar bear, which symbolizes renewal. The eagle dominates the scene, observing all of creation, while the dolphin brings joy and greets it with a cheerful “hello!” In earthy tones, the sea lion relaxes between land and water; it exists between two worlds, and our falcon, in the middle of the waterfall, watches over us with its watchful eye. In the lower left corner, we continue with the West and its introspection. The brown bear—the grizzly—relaxes on his rock as if taking a moment of solitude with himself, followed by the fox, who is discreet and clever. The butterfly, delicately perched on the nose of the powerful snake, gently transforms the snake’s surprise! And the otter, tired of playing, rests so it can slow down and better listen to its inner world. In the lower right corner, we encounter the South, which signifies spontaneity and the joy of movement. The panda, perched high on its branch, curiously observes the beluga whale playing in the turquoise ocean water. The zebra, surrounded by these magnificent warm hues, brings a warm and lively energy. The turtle, firmly anchored to the rocks, symbolizes the new—coming out of its shell! It is accompanied by the elephant, which amplifies good fortune! Thus, the four directions respond to and balance one another: the North invites us to pause and recharge internally; the East, to renewal, creation, and action; the West, to introspection; and the South, to spontaneity. Each animal thus becomes a guide, bringing its energy and its lesson to the heart of this work.
