In this work, I wanted to show how obsessive-compulsive disorder creates an ironic contrast between what I think and feel, on the one hand, and what I truly want or believe, on the other. I am able to recognize that a thought is irrational, even absurd, but my brain continues to perceive it as a threat; that is why I put a dunce cap on the clown to really play with this idea.
