Apothéose

This expressive work features a close-up portrait of a woman, in which the face and hands occupy most of the composition. The dominant hues are shades of brown, black, and gold, creating a striking contrast between light and shadow. The rich texture and golden splashes add a dynamic and almost tactile dimension to the canvas. The facial expression—both intense and vulnerable—along with the posture of the hands, suggests deep emotion and inner tension. The style combines detailed realism with abstract touches, revealing a strong, instinctive presence.
