Addiction - Unraveling Connections

This is the 5th painting in my Life Happens series. The opposite of addiction is often said to be connection. The bright colours represent the various connections in a person’s life before addiction. In this piece, see these connections unraveling, being severed and lost as in active addiction. Positive quotations exist beside the negative portrayal. The choice of background quotation colour was to make them antiquated since these wise sayings pass on age-old advice.
