I painted this Artwork in 2021. This painting is an emotional and personal interpretation of a spiral galaxy in the Universe. It is not inspired by an actual astronomical image, but rather represents an abstracted artistic vision of the birth and movement of cosmic matter — an imaginary space where energy, chaos, and order coexist in a continuous balance. At the center of the composition, I created a luminous yellowish-white core, resembling a galactic center where an invisible force is concentrated. The circles of color developing around this central point form the arms of a cosmic vortex, suggesting the movement of matter, the accumulation of energy, and the infinite dance of stars and interstellar gas clouds. For me, this spiral represents more than a cosmic phenomenon — it is an imaginary place where everything is in a state of constant transformation: matter is born, moves, and is drawn toward a mysterious gravitational force. The viewer is invited to enter visually into this vortex of space-time, as if embarking on a journey toward the origins of the Universe. The intense colors — red, orange, blue, green, and violet tones — suggest the energy of cosmic nebulae, those clouds of matter from which new stars are formed. Through the impasto technique, using thick and voluminous layers of paint, I wanted the surface of the painting to acquire its own physical presence and relief, resembling a fragment of the Universe created through color. My fascination with the cosmos began in childhood. I remember looking up at the sky and asking my mother, “What exists beyond the clouds?” This simple question remained in my memory and, years later, became a source of inspiration for this composition. This Artwork painting «Vortex Tourbillon» is an expression of my curiosity in the face of infinity — an encounter between imagination, color, and the mystery of the Universe. Through this Artwork, I have attempted to translate into the language of painting the invisible energy that connects all things: movement, light, and the force of creation.
