The Call of the Light

"The Call of the Light" evokes that suspended moment when nature seems to respond to an invisible force. Against a sky rendered in ink and enhanced by metallic mauve leaves, a luminous star, encircled by glitter, guides the eye toward a horizon where birds dance among the clouds. The ocean, composed of pigments, resin, mortar, and acrylic, reveals a rich and luminous texture whose contours evoke the perpetual movement of the waves. In the foreground, a white beach—evoked by fine natural stones—adds a mineral touch that contrasts with the fluidity of the ocean.
