Now… scream. The first work in a series exploring the impacts of an abusive relationship and the path to healing. Now… scream represents that voice we learn to hold back: the words we keep to ourselves to avoid conflict, the doubt that sets in, and the loss of confidence in our own judgment. Through this series, the artist seeks to give visual form to what is experienced during and after such a relationship: fear, silence, and confusion, but also the reclaiming of power, healing, and the return to one’s true self. A personal yet deeply human series, in which everyone can recognize an emotion, an experience, or a story that belongs to them. Enough is enough … it’s your turn to scream
