"This Woman" was born from someone who deeply shaped my imagination. A troubled friend who believed he was possessed by a demonic female entity that took control of him at night. A malevolent alter ego that brought chaos into his life and erased every memory by morning. He told me stories about “This Woman,” a latex-clad succubus who had lived a thousand previous lives. It was by imagining her wandering through the vast futuristic city he described that, for the first time, I began painting landscapes around my characters. This painting changed the direction of my entire universe. That troubled man, who hallucinated “Amee,” the succubus he believed loved him, deeply moved me, even though I couldn't save him...
