Goodbye Bluesky

Goodbye Blue Sky is my mother's favorite song, by the incredibly talented band "Pink Floyd." I grew up listening to this music. I believe I was already hearing it while I was still in her womb. This painting portrays Astrid, a mother who lives in the northern forests. She searches everywhere for her daughter, Sky, who ran away to the big city... She longs to bring her back to where she truly belongs, where the air smells of flowers, and where the stars shine brighter.
