Etched in Memory

A tribute to my grandmother Colette, a seamstress—a woman of gestures, patience, and passing on traditions. Through feminine silhouettes, fragments, lines, and traces reminiscent of sewing patterns, this work speaks to what is passed down from one woman to another, sometimes without words. Pieces of life that we cut out, assemble, and sew back together to build our own story. Crafted in a monochromatic palette of blues and enriched with materials and textures, the work evokes gentleness, presence, and memory. Because, deep down, she wasn’t just creating clothes—she was shaping lives.
