Birth Control II

In the second painting, I depict a human embryo suspended in the ocean. The image is rooted in a childhood memory: lying submerged in a bathtub, gazing upward at the water’s surface. Enclosed by water, I felt momentarily detached from the world—removed from schoolwork, social expectations, and interpersonal tensions. The water created a quiet, self-contained space, offering the illusion of escape.
