Ascension

Like a bird leaving the earth, I gently rise in intertwined arabesques into a new, unknown universe. This work, born from an artistic inquiry developed as part of the solo exhibition Aux portes de l’invisible, seeks to capture the essence of a passage into the invisible, through freshly liberated movements of flight, within spaces imbued both with the sediments of the earth and the breath of the invisible. A quest for connection. I painted it step by step, along a path revealed to me when I am able to quiet the narrative in my mind and surrender to something greater than myself.
