VIOLET SPLASH

Mixed media, acrylic, and glitter on canvas Water remembers nothing. It holds onto everything. In *Violet Splash*, the painting becomes an ocean—or perhaps something even older. Turquoise blues, deep purples, and emerald greens intertwine in invisible currents, as if the canvas were breathing beneath the surface. We find ourselves at the bottom of something vast. Something alive. Flashes of gold emerge intermittently—luminous filaments, tongues of fire beneath the water, veins of a buried mineral world. They do not dominate the composition: they traverse it, leave their mark on it, reminding us that even in the most complete fluidity, there are structures that resist, hard cores that refuse to dissolve. White explodes here and there like geysers, eddies, points of impact—where something has plunged in or emerged. The boundary between the two is impossible to define.
