This work represents a fragmented consciousness, prisoner of its own eyes. Scattered eyes symbolize the different perceptions of ourselves, others and the world. No look is really identical: some observe, some judge, some seek to understand. In the center, the face seems to smile, but this smile contrasts with the complexity that surrounds it. He evokes the idea that what we show externally never fully reveals what exists inside. The spiral represents the mind that turns on itself, caught in its thoughts, memories and contradictions. The geometric shapes that fragment the painting suggest an identity built from several pieces: emotions, experiences, wounds, desires and perceptions. Red reflects intensity, passion and inner conflict, while deep blue evokes the unconscious, mystery and the depth of mind. "The Faces of Consciousness" then asks a simple but disturbing question: How many versions of ourselves exist behind the face that we show to the world?
