1978
Known by her artist name Véro, she was born in 1978 in Quebec and has always been fascinated and inspired by colors, textures, patterns, tiny details, animals, and the elements of nature. Artist collections
Floral
This collection is composed of floral-type works created using mixed techniques, painting, collage, or watercolor.
Encaustics
Made from encaustic paint, an artistic technique that involves applying pigments mixed with hot beeswax containing damar resin and pigments, it requires working quickly, using a heat gun or a low-temperature blowtorch. The room must be well ventilated and a protective mask is necessary. Each piece is like a chemical experiment and finished with shellac.
Fluid
This collection is composed of canvases with fluid paint application using mixed technique on raw canvas primed with a transparent gesso, allowing the beige of the cotton canvas to show through, which brings warmth and modernity to the canvas. Embroidery or sewing regularly appears. The colors are vivid and the formats varied.
Explosion of Colors
Explosion of Colors was meant to be a vibrant series after a more difficult period in my life. It is the result of achieving well-being and relief. It was also intended to be a series about letting go, which I needed to put into practice during the adolescence of my two children who have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder.
