“Urban myths, visual metaphors, and creative escapes.”

Muralist · Montréal, Canada
Since 2012, Antoine Gautier has concentrated on creating screen-printed graphic works, which he signs under the artist name TØ. His illustrations, a cross between comics and urban art, are characterized by marked contrast, with particular attention to detail. His works offer a surreal, playful aesthetic, creating a visual poetry that invites the public to linger. The artist seeks to conceive new myths by exploring the multiple facets of metaphor, using and assembling symbols, familiar objects and concepts that shape our everyday lives. Her imaginary narratives offer reflections on social problems and contemporary issues such as modern alienation or the place of the human being in nature, providing new angles that leave room for interpretation and creativity on the part of the observer. For several years now, he has been imagining and creating around a series entitled "Habiter l'imaginaire", whose first solo exhibition is scheduled for 2026. The series invites visitors to explore surreal, contemplative worlds of reinvented urbanism.
