Recollections
This series lives at the intersection of the personal and the historical — one woman moving through the world, drawn repeatedly to the faces of forgotten women, asking the question: what if recognition across time is actually recognition of myself in different forms, different lives? I am not identifying them or inventing their stories, but giving women lost to time ground to stand on again. I chose vellum as the primary substrate to allow her to never quite resolve into certainty.

Retrieval
Working with archival materials and my own photography — shaped by my French and Polish roots — I work against the inherited iconography, recovering the feminine presence it was built to suppress. These are not reconstructions. They are retrievals: the primordial feminine returned to form, as though cultural memory had never been severed from its origin.
Social Landscapes
This series transforms single antique postcards from anonymous Parisian street photographers into complex narratives that expand beyond Henri’s personal quest as a part of the Albertine series. Each piece layers the romance of Albertine with the broader social realities of Belle Époque Paris, incorporating archival materials and historical figures to explore how individual longing intersects with the cultural currents of the era.
Skein
Skein traces it across three generations, asking what a family actually passes down — not just objects, but a photographer’s vocabulary for how a woman was meant to be seen and remembered. Each woman in the cabinet cards that found me at a small second hand shop about a year ago was photographed at the same New York City studio — confirmed by the imprint on the cabinet card. The brooch is the one constant. So, I anchored the series with it.
