Olivia Candille was born in Montreal to French immigrants. Moving first to Ontario then British Columbia during her childhood, she calls the west coast of Canada home. Olivia attended the Langara College Fine Arts Program and Emily Carr University. She uses a range of media and works primarily with acrylic paint and hand embroidery, exploring themes of presence, the inherent sacredness of ordinary things, dreams, symbols, and iconography....
