“I paint what the eye does not see, but what the soul recognizes.”

I describe myself as a surrealist artist whose mission is to translate, through painting, the tensions between dream and reality, between man and his environment. My style is inspired by classical surrealism - Magritte, Dalí, Tanguy - but is rooted in contemporary expression, influenced by my own experiences of exile, transformation and the quest for meaning. I favor symbolic composition, the juxtaposition of incongruous elements and visual illusion, in order to awaken in the viewer a reflection on the human condition and the paradoxes of the modern world. My works explore light, matter and space as emotional languages, while drawing on my architectural eye for rigorous visual structure. Through my canvases, I seek to bring about an encounter between inside and outside, between the visible and the invisible - to invite everyone on an introspective journey towards awareness and beauty.
