Mariana Medynska
Oakville, Canada
•
2002
Born in Ukraine, Mariana M. is an oil and acrylic painter whose impressionistic landscapes explore the meeting of place, memory, and heritage. Now based in Canada, she draws inspiration from city streets, woodland paths, and quiet waters, capturing the shifting colors and atmosphere of dusk. Through expressive brushwork and a sensitivity to light, Mariana brings a Slavic perspective to the Canadian landscape. Her paintings invite viewers to pause and notice the stillness, grit, and slower rhythms within the places we call home....
