Marek K. paints abstract map-like pictures which are states of his mind, brain dumps and feelings, music and literature translated into color. He is a self-taught artist, with over 20 years of painting experience. The act of painting gives him moments of relaxation as well as intellectual adventure, similar to reading. He paints mostly in oils, smaller pieces with acrylics and casein. The majority of his paintings are medium size, with quite a number of miniatures (image <8x8 in) he calls 'eye candy'.
