Malika Latreche is a self-taught painter who has never taken any painting classes. She creates from the heart and instinct, guided by the materials and textures she shapes using various tools and glazes. She divides her time between her passion for art, her job as a high school French teacher, and her first-aid training aimed at saving lives. Whenever possible, she also devotes her time to volunteer work. Her works, signed “Malika Latreche,” reflect this sensitivity and her life journey....

My Little Halloween Goat
"Spirit of the Black Forest" This captivating painting depicts a chimeric creature emerging from a misty background of purple and gray. At the center, a complex figure reminiscent of a goat. The contrasting use of dark and cool tones with touches of red and pink creates a mysterious atmosphere, on the border between dream and nightmare.
The Dancer
"The Dancer" by Malika Latreche is an abstract work where fluid and dynamic shapes evoke the graceful movement of a dance. The composition blends shades of purple and yellow, creating a vibrant and harmonious contrast. Touches of white accentuate the lightness and fluidity of the forms, while varied textures bring depth and expressiveness. This painting invites one to feel the energy and poetry of the gesture in an undefined space.
Twilight Glow
In a vibrant symphony of amber hues and golden reflections, this work captures the suspended tranquility of a twilight by the water's edge. The soft shadows of wooded banks respond to the warm glow of a setting sun, inviting the viewer to an intimate and luminous contemplation.
The Pirates
Plunging the viewer into the mysterious depths of piracy, this abstract composition with purple and dark hues evokes the sails of a ghost ship or the legendary shadows of a buried treasure. A captivating work that conveys all the strength and secrecy of maritime adventures.
The Dance Between Shadow and Light
This abstract work powerfully and poetically explores the perpetual dialogue between darkness and clarity. Through a striking gradient — ranging from deep shades of violet and mauve to a golden, luminous glow — the composition features fluid and dynamic forms. Crafted in relief with great finesse, these textured surfaces evoke suspended and graceful movements, capturing the suspended moment where opposing forces meet and harmonize.

My Little Happiness
This abstract work features a textured composition with warm and luminous tones, dominated by shades of yellow, gold, purple, and soft green. The fluid and dynamic shapes, sculpted using a flat silicone tool, evoke organic movements or light sails suspended. The Playful Spirit
Acrylic painting on canvas that I prefer the most. This abstract and textured work subtly breathes the playful energy of the famous cartoon character. Created with various tools and enriched with deep shades, the composition merges vegetal tones and dynamic graphic lines to evoke the silhouette or the lively spirit of the most famous rabbit in pop culture.
