God Wardrobe
"God Wardrobe" is an exploration of the sacred through the language of ink. It’s the artist's hands that give life to the images, filling the spaces with overlaps of curvilinear shapes striated in ink. The ripples form references to deities, their clothing and sacred objects. The center of these creations is the orixá Obaluaê and the dance movements of his skirt and hood, the azê and the filá, and the majestic xaxará that inspires Loya’s God Wardrobe Collection.
