Life Happens explores the complicated, often contradictory experiences that shape us as human beings. Through abstraction, symbolism, texture and mixed media, each work examines a different aspect of our inner lives—from ego, fear and anger to vulnerability, depression, resilience and personal growth. The series reflects my belief that life continually changes us. Some experiences burden us, some break us open, and others teach us to let go.
