My artistic approach is instinctive, almost unconscious. From an early age, I have channeled my emotions through creation, which has enabled me to better understand what was going on inside me. Coming from a dysfunctional family environment and marked by several traumas, I found art an essential means of decoding my feelings. Over time, I've come to realize that my work systematically reflects a duality between past and present. Today, my life is stable and serene, the opposite of what it once was. Yet my past continues to inhabit me, gnawing at me on a daily basis, and the act of creation becomes a vital necessity to externalize this persistent pain. Drawing, writing and other media become my outlets. My ideas often emerge spontaneously, sometimes even at random. The more they take shape in my mind, the more I feel the need to express them. It's only afterwards, sometimes several weeks later, that I fully grasp the message my subconscious was trying to convey. So my creative process is as introspective as it is liberating, and today art continues to help me bring to light what I'm living and feeling.
