Joey Cruz Margarejo is a self-taught artist originally from the Philippines, based now in Edmonton, Alberta and Montreal, Quebec. He is well known for his distinctive ":only2brushes" technique, creating colorful, richly textured abstract paintings using only two old brushes, a palette knife, and acrylic on canvas.
