Danielle Doucet was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and discovered her love of creating at a very young age. Beginning at just six years old, she spent ten summers studying oil painting under a Florida-based artist who travelled to Shédiac, NB, each summer to teach a week-long painting program. As Danielle grew older, she transitioned from student to teaching assistant, mentoring younger artists and helping children develop their own painting techniques.
