Based in Laval and a student at Cégep Montmorency, Klëo is a Quebec painter whose works range from abstract to figurative. Prioritizing spontaneity, she primarily uses oil paint to create small brushstrokes on her canvases in the style of the Impressionists. Her approach is entirely guided by the hope of evoking an emotion in the viewer. This series of canvases was created when the artist felt disconnected from her art. Created with oil and acrylic paint, Klëo lets the color flow on the surface and does not touch it afterward. Sometimes not seeking ultimate perfection is the best way to make a canvas personal and special. The patterns created during the process remain intact, creating unique and fluid spots across the entire canvases.
